Anodizing/Plating Systems
Thermatec, Inc. has been supplying cooling systems to the metal finishing industries for more than 40 years. We specialize in the best operating systems with low operating costs.
Direct Hard Coat Cooling Systems
Thermatec, Inc. Direct Cooled Hard Coat Chillers are the most efficient method of cooling. The direct cooling of a 30 degree hard coat will save about 25% in cooling operating savings and eliminate the need for control valves in the systems.
We pump the sulfuric acid solution into a specially - designed, 316 stainless- steel refrigeration evaporator, which is mounted on a complete package unit with very accurate temperature control. These systems can be supplied with either water or air-cooled condensers. Installations can be performed by a local mechanical contractor.
Advantages:
Secondary exchange eliminated, close evaporator-bath temperature approach, and lower energy cost (about 25%)

Indirect Cooling Systems
Thermatec, Inc. Indirect Cooling Systems are chillers complete with secondary heat exchangers. These systems can be designed for cooling 20 degrees to 100 degrees (+) and can be supplied with remote and air cooled chillers. Multi-tank systems can also be supplied with a remote air-cooled chiller.
Free Cooling Systems
Commonly used in shelter and equipment conditioning, free cooling systems utilize the cooler ambient air or water in the natural environment around you to drive the cooling process.
Thermatec understands how important it is to find out if a free cooling system is right for you, which is why we work with you to find the solution specifically designed to suit your needs.
Winter Economizer Cooling
When the ambient temperature is 40 degrees or lower, with the use of a proper sized dry coolers we can maintain a 70 degree anodizing tank and replace the chiller.
HEAT EXCHANGERS
Heat transfer is accomplished in many ways in the process industry. There are many options and different ways to cool fluids, each of which serves different purposes. Understanding which is the most efficient for you depending on your application is critical.
COOLING TOWERS
Cooling towers are great solutions if you’re looking for an efficient way to regulate heat for commercial or industrial applications. HVAC cooling towers work by using fans and convection to cool water loops and are often matched to water-cooled chillers, compressors, and processes directly with the use of heat exchangers.
MAKE-UP AIR UNITS
In environments where existing equipment uses up too much of the recyclable air inside a building, fresh air needs to be introduced. Make-up air units allow you to pull in fresh air from outside to improve the internal air quality and the efficiency of the equipment.
